Overview

You can now create authentic learning videos with +130 realistic avatars in Omnora. Attract more attention with content that is more natural, human, and easier to follow—with a professional look and secure data processing within the EU.

AI videos are created using speech synthesis (text-to-speech). All you need is a script that one of our avatars can read aloud.

 
 

 

Create an AI video

Follow these simple steps to create an AI-generated video with a voice and avatar:

  1. Open the AI Video Generator from the Create page.
  2. Select an avatar and voice
  3. Select the language
  4. Enter your script into the text field.

 

Below, we’ll walk you through each step in detail.

 

 

Step 1: Add a speaker text

The script is the foundation of your video. It will be spoken by the AI voice or avatar.
To make this step easier, you can use several AI-powered tools:

  • 💡 Import PowerPoint Notes
    If you upload a PowerPoint file, your existing slide notes can be imported automatically.
    They’ll appear directly in the text field, where you can edit them further.
  • 🤖 Generate Text with AI
    Let the AI automatically create a fitting voiceover script — based on your slide content or existing notes. This saves time and provides you with a professional text suggestion in seconds.
  • 🌍 Translate Text
    You can translate your script into another language using the Translate button above the text field. If you’d like, you can also translate your slides at the same time.

Note: All changes to the script are automatically saved. When you return to a slide later, your edits will still be visible.

 

 

Step 2: Select a Voice

Next, choose the avatar and the language for your AI narration.

  • Avatar
    We offer +130 Avatars from Synthesia

  • Language
    The selected language determines the pronunciation. Please make sure it matches the language of your text.

  • AI Voice
    We offer a variety of voices for each language — including Pro, Multilingual, and Standard voices.

💡 Tip: Explore our Pro voices for a more natural and expressive tone. Please note that Pro voices are non-deterministic, meaning their pronunciation may vary slightly each time for a more realistic sound.

 

 

Step 3: Preview the Voice

After choosing the voice and language, you can use the preview feature to listen to the result.
You can also adjust the speed and refine your narration by inserting pauses.

  • ▶️ Preview
    Click the play icon below the text field to listen to the full script.
    If you highlight a specific section, only that part will be played.
  • ⏩ Speed
    Adjust the speaking speed using the slider on the right-hand side.
  • 🤫 Pauses
    Add natural pauses for better pacing:
    • Place the cursor where you want the pause.
    • Click the 🤫 icon below the text field.
    • Define the desired pause length.

 

 

Step 4: Improve Pronunciation

To improve pronunciation, we recommend using multilingual voices. These can correctly pronounce terms such as customer success or other foreign phrases. Multilingual voices are marked with a 🌍 globe icon (e.g., Seraphina or Florian).

How to refine pronunciation:

  1. Select a multilingual AI voice.

  2. Highlight the desired word in the text.

  3. Click the globe icon below the text field.

  4. Choose the appropriate language.

  5. Done — your word will now be pronounced correctly in that language.

💡 Tip: Use the preview under the text field to check the sound and pronunciation before generating the video.

 

Dictionary

In addition, you can also have proper names, special brand names, abbreviations, etc. added to our dictionary. Simply contact us at support@omnora.com and let us know which word you would like to have pronounced and how.

 

 

Final Step: Generate the Video

Once your text, voice, speed, pauses, and avatar are ready, you can generate your video:

  1. Click the blue “Create” button in the header.
  2. The generation will start automatically.
  3. You can close your browser — the video will continue processing in the background.

 

 

Post-Editing in the editor

After generation, you can still edit and adjust your AI video in the editor:

  • Text and settings: Adjust script, speed, voice, and pauses.

Why does the Pro voice sometimes sound different in preview?
Pro voices include natural variance, which can slightly change tone and emphasis.

Why does the Pro-voice preview stop after 500 characters?
For performance reasons, previews for Pro voices are limited. For longer texts, preview in sections.
