Editing AI-Generated Content in the Editor

Overview

In this article, you’ll learn how to edit your AI-generated content even after the video has been created — including adjusting the voiceover script, changing the speech speed, switching the avatar, and much more.

AI videos are created using speech synthesis (text-to-speech). All you need is a script, which is spoken by one of our AI voices. In addition to the voice, you can also select an avatar for your video.

 

Edit AI Content

Follow these steps to edit your AI-generated content:

  1. Open your video in the editor.

  2. Click a blue element on the timeline.

  3. A menu will open on the left-hand side.

In this menu, you’ll see your selected settings:

  • Voiceover script

  • Speech speed

  • Voice

  • Language

  • Avatar option

You can also adjust the volume for this specific element.

💡 Use the preview below the text field to listen to your text changes before regenerating.

 

Regenerate AI Content

After making changes, you’ll need to regenerate your AI content:

  1. Click the “Generate” button at the top of the menu.

  2. The generation process will start — you can continue working in the editor during this time.

  3. Once generation is complete, the element will be highlighted in green.

  4. Click the “Replace” button.

  5. Done! The old content will automatically be replaced with the newly generated version.

To ensure your updates appear in the final video, click “Update Video” in the editor header.

Important: Please replace your old file with the newly generated one before clicking the “Update Video” button.
