Overview

In this article, we’ll show you how to create a new quiz for your training video in just a few simple steps. You’ll also learn how to use our AI-quiz feature, which allows you to generate quizzes automatically within seconds.

Quizzes are a valuable tool in the learning process. They make it possible to measure learning outcomes, track progress, and improve the quality of your course content. They also boost motivation through gamified elements and enable flexible learning, as tests can be completed anytime and anywhere.

Create a New Quiz

Open your video in the editor.
Click the blue plus icon on the left-hand side.
Select “New Quiz.”
The quiz editor window will open.

Your newly added quiz will appear in the editor as an orange element on the left-hand side.
Inside the editor panel, you can now enter your answers and configure your quiz.
To save your quiz, click the “Save Quiz” button.

Create a Quiz with AI

Use our smart AI feature to automatically generate quizzes for your video.
Based on the content of your video, relevant questions and answers are created for you within seconds.

Open your video in the editor.
Click the “AI Quiz” button in the bottom-left corner.
Select the language spoken in your video.
(Optional) Define how many questions and answers should be generated.
When you’re ready, click “Create Quiz.”

The process will begin automatically — you can even leave the editor or close your browser.

Once completed, the AI-generated quizzes will be automatically added to the end of your video.
After generation, you’ll see the results directly in the editor. You can still edit, adjust, or delete the AI-generated quizzes as needed.

Add Questions and Answers

You’ve successfully created your quiz — now let’s fill it with content:

Click the quiz element to open the editing panel.
In the editor, you can edit the question and answer options.
Each quiz requires one question and at least one answer.
You can add up to eight answer options in total.
To save your changes, click the “Save” button in the editor panel.

Important: Changes to your quiz are not saved automatically.

Quiz Settings

You also have various configuration options to control how your viewers experience the quiz within the training video.

Decide whether none, one, or multiple answers are correct.
Check the box next to an answer to mark it as correct.
Choose whether the quiz should appear as multiple choice or single choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I place a quiz within a scene?
Quizzes can only be placed at the end of a scene.

What happens to my quiz if I move a scene?
When you move a scene in the list, all quizzes within that scene will automatically move with it.

Can I have multiple quizzes in one scene?
Yes. You can create and place multiple quizzes one after another. Each quiz appears as its own element in the list.

Can I preview my quiz?
Currently, you can only preview a quiz after leaving the editor and playing the video on the detail page.

How can I delete a quiz?
Hover over the quiz element in the list. A trash icon will appear — click it to delete the quiz.

Can I change the order of my quizzes?
Yes. You can use drag & drop to rearrange quizzes in the list or move them to another scene.
Please note that quizzes can only be placed at the end of a scene.

Can I create quizzes in other languages?
Not yet — but this feature will be available soon.

How can I set the language of the buttons?
Buttons and helper texts (such as “Answer is correct”) are automatically displayed in the language selected by the viewer in the Omnora App. If you need your quiz for LMS / SCORM, you can define the display language during the export process.
